I know I've been to
different places in my childhood but, the thing is, that I can only remember
those because I’ve seen pictures so when I stop myself to think about holidays I think of more recent ones and it had almost always been to visit my grandparents,
but not so long ago, my grandpa built a cabin in a small village of
Cobquecura.
I didn't really have
high hopes for the project, because the first time we saw the terrain it was
very messy, but after that, he finished building the cabin and it was all furnished so we decided to visit them, and... for my surprise it was a very homey
place.
So we went to visit the
cabin last summer for like a week, with my grandparents, my uncles my aunts, my
cousins, my parents, my brother and my dog. Some of the activities that we did
were going to the local market to buy crab and seafood, and then we head to the
cottage to eat them, we also played games in the exterior like ball or hide and
seek, but the must do activity is to have a walk across the beach, and not only
a walk you can also run, we did both walk and also running just to compete with
each other.
This was a very special holiday for me because I don´t really like crowded places because it makes me uncomfortable but this village has like 12 villagers so we were practically alone! The beach was all ours and my dog, that is scared of strangers, was for the first time really happy and free, she run like never before, she even climbed rocks!
And in the other hand, in the night when it was getting really cold we would light a fire to sit around it, and when you looked up at the sky, you could see the stars like they were at the reach of your hand.
