The upcoming summer

Recently summer feels nearer and nearer, with temperatures above the 30 degrees everyday it seems like it came earlier this year, but we are actually still on spring. For me this two seasons aren’t very appealing, in fact, I much prefer the winter because I don’t sweat, there isn’t spiders everywhere and I can be warm If I wear adequate clothing. On the opposite, in summer you sweat even if you move just your finger, there is bugs in every corner and no matter how you’re dressed you’re still hot. That’s why, one of the few good things I could think about summer are the holidays!

Unfortunately, this summer is going to be different from my others summers, because the semester in my university is going to end in January. I’ve never been in classes at that time of the year so I can’t imagine if it’s going to be awful or kind of fun, either way, I hope I could enjoy Christmas as I like to; spending time with my friends and family, listening to festive music, decorating the Christmas tree and wrapping all the presents.

Following Christmas, it comes the New year, and it’s going to be the first time I experience it like the people who has jobs, and after the first of January they have to attend to their working places, I’m not working but I would have to go to classes on that week, kind of weird for me though looking at the bright side I imagine that the public transportation and the traffic in general is going to be calmer.

When I finally finished the semester I plan to spend it first with a lot of sleep and leisure time! At least the first weeks, then I want to draw more and enjoy it as I used to. In addition to that I think it’s already planned that we are going to the cottage of my grandpa with my parents and my dog but I think it’s going to be only us, so I assume that in one point of summer we are going to visit my relatives from my mom and dad.

See you soon Summer!

  1. Hey, the leisure time is the good side of summer: the slower pace...even if it is hotter and there are more insects (PS I like summer a lot!)
